    Great Info!
If I ever get the AT Pro I'm going to need a cheat sheet a mile long!
At my age I would have trouble remembering several of them.

Just do what I do, if your looking for silver coins dig everything from around 75 & up
& if your looking for jewelry dig everything for 48/49 & up...

I dont have an AT Pro but I find that sometimes I get some real weird numbers. Day before yesterday I had a nickel that rang up much higher than what 99.9% of them show. Never did figure out why as there was nothing different about the nickel that should have caused the difference.

Yes alot of these VDI's are subjective. We tested a 14k gold band with three different machines, my Pro being one of them, and the numbers vary and on the Pro it bounced around alot and had I of hit this target I would of considered it trash! No telling how many gold rings I have passed over. I now dig most all signals that even remotely indicate gold. The 14k ring with diamonds I found rang up at around 62 on the Pro.

The numbers above are a great indicator of what to look for but I'm 99.9% sure most of the tests above where done with the item laying flat & no other metal around... A deep coin, a coin on edge, or one next to a piece of iron/other metal will have a different readings then whats shown in the list... If it sounds good & your not sure Dig, Dig, Dig.....

I agree, if it rings, beeps or squeals, then dig it. That is unless you raise the coil and know it is a can or something similar.

Actually since I got the AT Gold I seldom look at the VDI, unless I'm not sure what I'm hearing! It is about the sound!!
